Robin Whitehurst Named to Partners for Sacred Places' Board of Directors
Bailey Edward’s own Robin Whitehurst was appointed as a Director to the Board for Partners for Sacred Places (PSP). Per PSP’s website, “Partners is the only national advocate for the sound stewardship and active community use of America’s older religious properties. Through our training programs, information clearinghouse, and professional network, we have helped congregations in all 50 states.”
“I am humbled to have been chosen for this distinction,” said Whitehurst. “Our experiences collaborating with Partners for Sacred Places have proven to be both successful and fulfilling. I am delighted to be affiliated with their causes.”
As recently as December of 2012, Partners for Sacred Places and Bailey Edward worked together to present Building New Economy in Faith Environments: Leveraging Your Sacred Place to Maximize Community Impact, a one-day forum for faith environments leaders on creating multi-beneficial partnerships within the community.
Robin will sit on the Board with the likes of both faith environments leaders and fellow professional services representatives where he will serve on both the finance and program subcommittees. As a business owner himself, Robin will be able to provide invaluable insight to faith environments leaders on handling finances for facility restoration.
“I believe that my experiences as both a business owner and a historic preservation specialist will allow me to be of assistance to the Board,” said Whitehurst.
