Projects | Covenant House Illinois
Mayor Lori Lightfoot campaigned on a promise to tackle homelessness in Chicago. For some, homelessness is a result of the foster system: kids who age out without resources or a support system are often left to live on the streets. Late last month, Mayor Lightfoot joined Covenant House Chicago as they broke ground on a new facility to tackle youth homelessness in East Garfield Park.
Since 1972, Covenant House has been supporting young adults aged 18 to 24 to provide not only a roof over their heads, but also services and education to improve their lives. Bailey Edward is proud to be supporting Covenant House in their mission as we provide essential mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineering services to prime architect McBride Kelley Bauer Architects. Together, we can build a brighter future for some of Chicago’s most vulnerable individuals.
