One of the leading Chicago Architecture and Engineering Firms, Bailey Edward, is looking for a responsive Marketing Coordinator to become a part of a collaborative, high-energy studio where professional growth and client satisfaction are emphasized.

The successful Candidate will work closely with others in the marketing department, senior management, and staff to help successfully deliver Bailey Edward’s marketing initiatives.


• Implement marketing campaigns including; specialty mailings (physical and electronic), social media, and award submissions
• Maintain and update the company website
• Coordinate project photography by working with photographer, project manager and client to get needed images to use for the website, social media, awards, and marketing collateral
• Coordinate the development and production process for marketing proposals
▪ Prepare high-quality proposal documents using standardized formats
▪ Contact consultant team members, and coordinate team information
▪ Produce, pack and ship submittal and proposal documents
▪ Distribute proposal information to team members and archive information
▪ Prepare interview materials including presentation and handouts
▪ Maintain and update the marketing and proposal databases and spreadsheets with project, staff, and consultant/team information
• Prepare and maintain marketing collateral
▪ Assemble, edit, update and proofread marketing collateral such as resumes, project profiles and project lists
• Model firm values of responsiveness, creativity, and professionalism
• Apply Bailey Edward Policies and Procedures
• Promote work share within the other Bailey Edward offices
• Additional marketing and administrative tasks as needed


• Bachelor’s degree or higher, in Business, the Humanities, Arts or other related area


• This is a mid-level position and requires three to six year of marketing experience
• Some experience in the Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction industries is a plus


• Superior organization and the ability to prioritize, complete and adjust to high energy, high demand variable and ever-changing tasks and deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills including advanced writing and proofreading skills
• Must be able to interact with the public in a manner that distinguishes the firm as a positive capable team
• Strong attention to detail and quality control; a good eye for design and presentation
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Publisher, etc.
• Proficiency in graphics software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Knowledge of Cosential or other marketing/proposal databases a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• Must be flexible, driven and have a strong work ethic
