People | Matt Montalbano Becomes a Licensed Professional Engineer
Only a few weeks into the new year and our staff is already reaching new heights. Matt Montalbano started 2019 by earning his license in engineering! After passing his exams in December, Matt received his license and is now a professional engineer in our Fox River Grove office.
As a Bailey Edward mechanical engineer, Matt manages projects for a variety of clients by coordinating scope between owners and the design team. He assists in the creation of construction documents and performs on-site construction inspections on behalf of the client to make sure everything is running smoothly. He collaborates with multiple design firms on new construction and renovation projects ranging from retail to government agencies. Throughout his four years with Bailey Edward, Matt’s dedication and hard work is proven by his ability to handle a vast array of projects.
Matt received his Master of Science from Northwestern University and is a LEED accredited professional. Now that he doesn’t have to hit the books every night, you can find him at the Chicago Curling Club! Alongside his dedication to his team and vocation, he is working with a design firm to build a new refrigeration system for the club. Send your congratulations to Matt here!
