Community | BE Invited to Propose for YWCA

Bailey Edward is proud to focus on projects that benefit the social good. It is a fundamental pillar to the company and that commitment extends through all that we do. This past month, Bailey Edward had the opportunity to propose for the YWCA Evanston / North Shore. The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The YWCA is to renovate and expand their Evanston / North Shore location to provide up to date facilities to better service their community.

As a woman-owned company, Bailey Edward also works to promote women in the community. Previously, Bailey Edward worked with Sarah’s Inn, a nonprofit organization based in Oak Park, Illinois that works to help those affected by domestic violence. Projects like these mean so much to us because of the chance to help an organization better serve the community by providing the ideal space to do so.

Having the opportunity to work with a nonprofit that aligns so closely with our own company values is always exciting, as it reinforces what we do can make a difference. Bailey Edward designs buildings with the ultimate goal of taking care of people, and that goal is considered every time we have the opportunity to propose for a client. We are proud of the work that we create, but we are also proud of the work that our clients do to improve other lives through education, good governance, research, or social work.
