News | Bailey Edward Awarded Two GSA IDIQ Contracts
During September, Bailey Edward was awarded two new General Services Administration (GSA) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts encompassing the Southern Service Center and Chicagoland Regions. We’re honored at the confidence the GSA has placed in us to extend our geographic area of work and further our relationship with the agency.
Bailey Edward began working for the GSA in 2006. Our original IDIQ was for the state of Illinois, excluding Cook County. As we became a trusted partner of the GSA, this contract was extended to Indiana (2009) and later to include Cook County (2013). Under these contracts, we have performed work on over 100 projects; large and small, historic and new build, occupied and non-occupied. Our work with the GSA involves integrated design that balances aesthetics, cost constructability, and reliability; creates environmentally responsible and superior workplaces for civilian Federal employees; and gives public expression to our shared democratic values.
For the GSA, we look forward to continuing our architectural and engineering design to the people who serve, support and protect the public. Our new Southern Service Center IDIQ contract includes Illinois, Indiana, and now Ohio; excluding Cook and Winnebago Counties in Illinois. The Chicagoland Region IDIQ will be our first for Cook County not under the umbrella of our regional IDIQs. We expect to continue the work we’ve done at the Chicago Federal Center buildings and look forward to future work in other GSA facilities in Chicago.
