Project Summary

A teaching clinic was designed to provide students a ‘real-life’ learning environment that showcases medical and business best practices. The clinic provides full treatment and boarding facilities for the treatment of small domestic animals and teaches future veterinarians, both on-site and long-distance, patient care practices such as wellness checks, dental work surgery, and client services. The facility was accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association as a practice operating at the highest standards of excellence in pet care.

Design Vignette

The LEED Silver-designed clinic minimizes stress and maximizes comfort for pets while providing the best learning environment for future veterinary students. Reception area features such as a play area, animal holding and waiting area all contribute to comfortable and stress-free environment.
